VINTAGE ENGLISH COUPLE COURTING HAND PAINTED VASE NR Up for your consideration is a Great Vintage Handpainted Ornate Vase / Urn of an English couple courting . Interestingly... The couple and the greenery look like they are an applied cover to the vase, then the handpainting, the heavy gold and the whites in the clothes are painted on afterward. We have never seen this style before. Please see the last picture for the hole that the "screen" must have been applied from? T is one other similar hole on the other side. Now, I could be nuts, and or wrong, please let me know your thoughts and I will update the sale. Other than the pestering hole, t are no cracks or chips of any kind. Some of the gold paint around the rim has worn a little. Nice Vintage Piece for the Romantic in all of Us. Measures 6 dia x 4 dia base x 12".
