Really nice vintage burlwood playing card box from a local Dallas estate. SIGNATURES AND MARKINGS: Appears totally unmarked on careful inspection but certainly European based on the materials and the aesthetic and most likely Italian, possibly English. AGE DISCUSSION: A vintage estate piece and I would date it to probably about the 1900 - 1940 era (pre-WW2 20th century) CONDITION: EXCELLENT, as shown. Typical light patina of age but NO chips, cracks, hairlines, warpage, or discolorations. NO damage to the fiinsh. NO missing pieces and NO bubbled-up places in the wood. Lid goes on and off fine with no problems. The pics are very honest and show the condition well and you won't be disappointed in the condition of this piece. SIZE: About 4.25" long and and 2.75" tall. On testing, holds two normal size decks of modern playing cards fine with no problems. RETURNS: Bid with confidence, I take returns with *no questions asked*. Cash refund ***less shipping** if returned within 7 days in same condition. Please note, I'm always willing to accept a return with *no questions asked* but shipping both ways is ***non-refundable*** under all circumstances as forthrightly stated and please bid accordingly. ********** Please check my feedback and bid with confidence.
