This Auction is for a very Unique & Pretty Vintage Oak Barley Twist End, Lamp Occasional Table or Plant Stand from England with a Very Pretty Inlay of wood in the pretty round scalloped edge top of a Sea Shell right in the center. I have seen 100's of B/T tables, but this is the first one with a wood inlay in it. It's well made and sturdy and quite pretty. As far as the finish goes, it's still very good showing some very nice wood grains running through the wood around the top & beautitful Barlet Twist legs. The Patina is a Dark Chestnut. It's more than likely been refinished a time or two in it's long life. The style is very functional as it can be used as a lamp table or plant stand or entry table. The top is 17 3/4" across and about 28 1/2" tall on cute "teardrop feet". As with any Vintage item of it's age & travels it has a ding or two and some scratches but in spite of this, it's a wonderful little table with nice eye appeal and years & years of good service left in it.
