This is a very old Gilbert Erector set from the late 30s' .It is all original, -- no repainted box or trim replaced, no parts or box repainted, no new labels - this is the real deal . It includes the manual. The labels are in tact but worn. There are over 264 pieces plus in the box. Some of the parts have never been used. It includes the fixings for the Steam Plant, also I notice it has fixings/parts for the Truck, steering gear axle and eight wheels. There is a screwdriver and a wrench. There are a lot of parts that have never been used, in photos some are stacked, too many to spread out.. Many of the parts are used and some have discoloration, or minor rust or paint loss. Motor works. The box has scuffs and scratches, especially the bottom, interior is nice, needs a cleaning, perhaps a restoration. I notice a label on the inside says 'parachute jump' but I see nothing in the box that has parachute parts, go figure. NO RESERVE . This is an extremely heavy piece to ship.
