You are bidding on a vintage straight razor from the ERN Solingen-Wald Razor Company(est. 1873, Wald 1922). This razor dates from the early 20th century. The carbon steel blade is 11/16” wide, full-hollow grind with a spike point. The blade is in pretty good condition with someminor pitting on the blade face and along the face of the tang. Excellent edge! The tang is stamped on one side with the ERN ‘Crown & Sword’ logo and the words, “WALD-GERMANY. The scales are a mottled brown & black celluloid, and tightly pinned in brass.There is a repaired crack on the wedge end that has no effect on the integrity or function of the razor. The wedge is dark grey-green celluloid. This razor has been polished and honed to shave-ready condition on a vintage Escher water stone. Please see all photos before bidding.
