This auction is for this VINTAGE, LIFELIKE, LARGE, HEAVY, CLOWN STATUE, of which I recently got at an estate sale. This appears to be made of HEAVY Chalkware. On the tie , between his folded arms, are the painted intials, E.K.J.. This guy is ASTONISHING-On the bottom back of stature it has EMMETT KELLY JR. U.S.A. c- ESCO, and some #`s- date that I cannot see well enough to state for sure.I have bad eye sight. So I will let you see if you can. It does have some minor paint flecks missing which you can partially see in picture,which could be touched up, but you dont even notice them, because you cannot take your eyes off of that face of his !!!! Looks great just like he is. T is a small chip on the very top of the hat. Again, not that noticeable. You won`t be disappointed. This guy weighs over 7 pounds, and is aprox. 12 " tall X 9 1/2 " wide, and has a felt material on the bottom for protection.
