VINTAGE ESTATE 1.7c GENUINE EMERALD+DIAMOND CLUSTER RING THIS RING WILL KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF! It is a vintage estate ring, ca. 1950s, that is exactly what I think of when I hear the phrase "COCKTAIL RING." It's the kind of ring you don with your little black dress and your long diamond dangle earrings. This ring is high-end with super-nice quality gemstones! Okay, so you have to like cluster rings--or emeralds--or diamonds to be looking at this. This ring has IT ALL! It has a large marquise-shaped head with lots of levels so that the emeralds are graduated all around the outside of the ring. These emeralds are genuine and AAA quality. Each is approximately 3.5 mm in size, about 8 points and t are 11 emeralds--total emerald weight is approximately .88 ct. The diamonds are INCREDIBLE! These are super clean, white diamonds, 9 in all, for .75 carat in diamond weight. These have been graded by our experienced estate jeweler as F-G color, VS to SI in clarity--they are SO WHITE they just LEAP OUT OF THIS GREEN EMERALD BORDER! And absolutely not a speck of black carbon anyw Awesome diamonds!!!!! Now for the down side. I normally don't even bother to list rings with any damage at all, but THIS RING IS NOT READY FOR THE SCRAP PILE for one little flaw! T is one emerald in this ring, on one side, that is missing. It looks like part of the head was broken and the emerald fell out. But I am guessing that until you read this paragraph, you never even saw it in the photos--did you?! because of one missing emerald. It's just too pretty, and a competent jeweler might be able to fix it for you if it botd you. The diamonds and gold alone are worth more than my starting price. If you were to get this appraised, you'd be more than satisfied. A ring like this brand new would be well up in the thousands of dollars, with genuine gemstones the quality of the diamonds and emeralds in this ring! The head of the ring measures 7/8" by 5/8" and it sits up 1/2" off the finger. It's hallmarked 14K with a maker's mark, "JC" with a crown between the J and the C. It is strong and sturdy, weighing 7 grams. The ring is a size 8.25, and other than the missing emerald, it is in EXCELLENT condition with no damage to any of the other stones.
