Unlimited design possibilities... Magic screen... Hours of fascinating fun... It's the Etch A Sketch by the Ohio Art Co. This patent pending (1960?), USA made beauty comes in its original box with an idea booklet. The Etch A Sketch is in good vintage, used condition. Both knobs work, though the detail is better with the vertical knob, and the action more fluid. So, while you may not be able to draw molecular diagrams, there is plenty of life left for not so subliminal messages, mountain scenes, and the classic "staircase." It is also a fascinating display piece for a collector of classic toys. There are a few marks on the Etch A Sketch, and the screen doesn't completely appear blank after shaking. The box has some scuffing on the edges, and has a considerable tear on the back. The booklet is also in used condition. However, much of this is to be expected with age, storage, handling. Though used, it has been well taken care of, and is ready to leave grocery lists, love notes, angry notes, or look super swell amongst collectibles. Thanks for looking.
