A faux tortoise shell manicure box. the box carcase is made of wood and overlaid with a thick paper like material which carries the pattern. yYou can see from the photo that the material around the hinge area is becoming detatched . The box has lost most of its contents but what is there is coming with it. The inside is a velvet like material in cream. The whole thing would benEfit from a clean. It measures 6" by 8
