Vintage Four Patch Feedsack Cutter Quilt Quilt measures app. 77" x 67" Small 4 Patch squares measure app 3.5" x 3.5" Hand stitched & hand quilted This is one of those cutters where you can use the entire quilt except for the the edges & border for your projects. That's a lot of fabric to have in a cutter. The shadow you see in the first couple of pictures at the bottom is my bird feeder pole and hangers It's an excellent cutter with just the right amount of wear without being torn up, ragged and falling apart Most of the fabrics are feedsack with some ? shirting. It really looks like it was made from a bunch of remnants because though there are some repeat fabrics there's not a lot of them. Which would make perfect sense for the 40s or 50s on the farm. They didn't throw much away. Anyway, the quilt is batted with what looks to be a thin old cotton plaid/stripe blanket. I just now noticed that. It may even be 2 different ones. Also note in the photo that shows the back of the quilt - you can see where it was patched. The back fabric is muslin feedsack. The horizontal spot where the light looks to shine thru is not a hole on either side. It's just a worn spot or tear on the inside batting / fabric. The patches you see are inside - in between the front and back. So there may have been another back on it at one time. No telling read more
