Description: You are bidding on a vintage 41 piece china porcelain dinnerware set made in Italy in the late 70's early 80's by the notorious porcelain manufacturer Richard Ginori for the "Cavallino" restaurant in Modena , Italy . This set is over 25 years old and was found in its original Ginori Box and was new. The porcelain is a beautiful white color with a thin red line close to the border and a beautiful "Cavallino Rampante" shield with the giallo Ferrari background. All porcelain is marked with the Ginori logo on the back. Apparently a Very limited number of these plates were made for close friends of the Ferrari and Richard Ginori companies other than the ones delivered to the "Cavallino". You will never come across this set anyw else as these plates were never produced for re-sale. The set is composed of: 12 dinner plates (24 cm diameter), 12 soup plates (23 cm diameter), 12 side plates (21 cm diameter), 1 large oval dish, 1 small oval dish, 1 large salad bowl, 1 large tureen with cover and 1 large round dish for a total of 41 pieces (Yellow blanket not included in auction). The porcelain set has never been available in stores, has never been used and is still in its original "Richard Ginori" boxes (I have to open the box to inspect the plates and package them for shipping).
