is a good solid violin everything seems right, It is made from one piece of wood but I don't know what type. I Presume the bow is Horse Hair & original as t are no markings to indicate otherwise. It has Mother-of-Pearl insets. From the late 50's I believe. A friend who played semi professionally gave this to me, I never did learn to play. So time to let someone else make use of it. It includes a couple of extra stings NIP (Austria) as well as rosin, a tuning whistle and a damper I think for one of the stings. It was made in the Republic of China, apparently very good Violin makers at that time, I'm sure the people interested will know. A FEW MARKS NOTHING SERIOUS, For a fiddle that I believe is 50+ years of age I think it is pretty good, it could use a cleaning & tuning (it sounds good to me but really I know nothing!) Look over the pictures what you see is what you will get, ASK questions & I will try to answer promptly. Case has a few scuffs & one pencil point size indent in it. Below is a picture that you can refer to for questions & I'll Know what you are asking. Check my feedback I always try to be overly critical of what I sell so you can expect it to be as good as or better then the listing states. Returns are Okay if I misrepresent the item. Thank you for looking & The construction of a violin
