This is the vintage Fiesta chop plate in medium green . It measures 12" in diameter, but is sometimes referred to as the 13" chop plate by collectors. Its generous size makes it ideal for use as a serving platter. There are 3 available, all in excellent condition, with no chips or scratches. Of all the vintage Fiesta colors, medium green is the hardest to find, as it was in production only from 1959 through 1968 , according to the Collector's Encyclopedia of Fiesta, Tenth Edition, p. 14. Medium green is different from both the original light green (1936-1951) and the 1950s color known as dark green/forest green. Vintage Fiesta pieces in medium green are rare and are highly prized by collectors. Please contact me with questions. I also have various other pieces in medium green and other colors.
