This auct Description The auction is for an early 1980s G-1 jacket with a patch from USMC VMFA 232 "Red Devils". Based out of MCAS Miramar in California, VMFA 232 "The Red Devils" is the oldest Marine Corps' squadron. VMFA 232 is considered the best Squadron within USMC MAG 11 when it comes to ACM. The Devils currently fly the F/A 18C, single seat Hornet. They were among the first to go into Iraq in January 1991. Since 2001, they have been deployed to Iraq, and more recently to Aghanistan. The jacket is in excellent condition and has no flaws. It was manufactured by Flight Apparel Industries Inc in 1982. The Scovill zipper works perfectly and has no missing teeth.
