Beautiful Vintage Flower Basket Quilt. Not sure if any of it has been machine stitched - I just see rows and rows and patterns and patterns of hand stitching. If any of it is machine stitched, its at a minimum since you can see so much hand stitching when this quilt is laid out and examined - pretty elaborate pattern. Estate sale find - I was told this was made back in the 1950s. Quilt is primarily white with lots of different colors in the flower baskets. Don't believe this quilt has ever been used or maybe it was used sparingly or just displayed? It is light and puffy and gorgeous on display. You can still see some of the pattern markings in the last pix that will need to be laundered out. It measures 105" long and 91" wide. I don't see any tears. I count about 4 stains on the front of the quilt (some pictured to give you a general idea) and am hoping new buyer will know how to handle stain removal. The back of the quilt is white and I only noticed 1 stain. I believe this quilt (and 2 others that I have posted) just sat folded up in a bedroom for quite awhile and have aged somewhat over time. Quilt needs to be professionally cleaned or cleaned by an expert who knows how to remove stains and then put on display. Imagine the hours that must have gone into making this. NOTE: I can only post 12 pictures so was trying to give a good read more
