VINTAGE Fold Out WOOD TOOL BOX / CHEST, HAND MADE,GREAT if you collected vintage tools or tool boxes , add this to your collection. dated before 1900's. great price and great wooded box. i have a vintage old handmade tool box or chest, in very sturdy condition. this wood tool box is still in great shape, no rotting. Outside shows normal wear with many light surface scratches, but would re-finish easily if your looking for a special project. All made by some handyman. The size is 34'' long by 8 1/2'' wide by 19'' high when folded and closed. Has the leather original strap handle. The corners are not dovetailed, the entire box is built of 3/4" material perhaps pine, but it is very heavy. All corners are nailed together. We did not have the key, so we removed the catch plate, so it would open. (will be included). We added new vintage catches to be able to shut and lock the box. Hinges on the outside are in good condition, work, some rust. Inside has compartments for hammers, saws, drills, nails, etc. Cabinet needs a good cleaning. A great addition to your vintage collectibles.A very heavy 25 lb. , with no packing material.
