For your consideration is a steel tool box from a vintage Fordson tractor. The lid is attached to the main part of the tool box by a full length hinge. On the front of this tool box is a hasp that works the way it is supposed to. Stamped into the hinged lid from the underside, making the writing appear embossed is the word Fordson. The lid is flanged and sets down over the main part of the tool box. This tool box was made with back deeper than the front. The overall length of the lid is approximately 11 1/8". The back is approximately 5" tall and the front is approximately 4 5/8" tall. From the front to back is approximately 4 1/4". The front, the lid and one end have many shallow dents. This tool box has much rust almost everywhere and some pitting here and there. The main part must be knocked out of square, because the lid will close and the hasp will function, but both are tighter on one side than I feel they should be. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description. I apologize for the way the pictures are, but the issues I have had with digital cameras and PCs since 11/07/13 and am still having are scarier than any nightmare than I have ever had.
