Vintage Commemorative Coin Frankenberger's Department Store Charleston WV For those of you not from our area, let me give you a bit of history on this former downtown Charleston WV department store. Frankenberger's was the place to shop back in the day for fine men's wear. I remember quite well my father and both brothers buying their Sunday suits t so many years ago. we have a numbered (1421)heavy weight gold metal $50 coin that was given away as advertisement for their store. These coins were to be used in exchange for merchandise. This particular coin is still in the plastic wrapping and comes complete in the original gift box. Just a wonderful sentimental reminder of days gone by for you to enjoy today! Box measures 3 1/4 square-coin measures 1 1/2 diameter. Thank you for coming to my store!
