Vintage Frankoma Pottery Retriever Dog Bookends Green Up for auction is a vintage pair of Frankoma Pottery Prairie Green & Brown Glaze Retriever Dog Bookends.They stand approximately 7" tall and the base is approximately 4" square. The nose and head length is about 5 �"Both are in great condition having no chips or cracks. T is some scuffs type lines on the paint on the back of the head. This could possibly be cleaned off, I have not cleaned them at all.One has most all the felt on bottom but the other the felt is about 1/3 intact. I did not see the Frankoma mark but did not remove the felt on the bottom. This glaze is very distinctly Frankoma.One problem I found is that one of the bookends has something inside. I believe it is the clay from the hole that fell inside. Please ask any questions you have.
