Vintage French DOPFF Ice Bucket - French Cafe Chic 100% authentic piece of French cafe chic. Made in France, a rare find these days, not too many of these old ice buckets around. What makes this ice bucket unique is the unusual height of it....! very special! A real talking point for your dinner table. Dobff au Moulin ( windmill ) Cuvee can trace its origin as far back as 1900 when Julien Dobff trained in Champagne and returned to Alsace in North of France to produce really high quality sparkling white wines. The company are still producing today! The engraved Dobff windmill brand mark is a very french and elegant design. There are lots of other lovely details - the shell-like detail on the handles, it's height, and it's graduated shape. This ice bucket is old has seen lots of action.... so do expect lots of low level wear and tear, all adding to the charm - marks, scratches, a few minor dings, there is some black black ink missing from the engraved logo... and the bucket stands fine, but there is a bit of a wobble... also, three tiny pin pick holes? see photo 3 examine the inside of bucket. Please take a good look at the photos. It is light weight. The carafe measures 10 inches in height, diameter at the top 7 inches, and diameter bottom 4.5 inches.
