Fresh from a local estate, comes this charming vintage composition nativity set. The sheep were probably not original to the set, but were with it when I bought it. The sheep are a chalkware material, and while they are quite detailed and nice, the scale is a little larger and they are not marked France. The other pieces are composition and have France impressed into the bases. The figures are diminutive, the tallest measuring just under 2.5" tall. The pieces are nicely molded and hand painted. They include Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, 3 kings and 2 shepherd types. Nice small set in good overall condition. TERMS & CONDITIONS..PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!!! Since ebay has determined that sellers arenow somehow responsible for errors made by the USPS, I will be shippingALL packages with either delivery confirmation (under 20.00) or DC AND INSURANCE (over 20.00). The winning bidder will pay the actual cost of priority mail shipping plus a 2.00 handling fee (already figured into the shipping shown in the listing) which will help to cover those additional costs.
