VINTAGE FRENCH LINEN TORCHONS TEA TOWELS UNUSED PG Fabulous unused very large vintage French heavy linen torchons (tea towels) having 3 narrow bands of red down each side and embroidered with the initials PG to the top left corner. I have several available and am selling them individually. These torchons are in excellent unused condition. The fabric is a lovely soft linen, pale oatmeal in colour but with repeated washing will turn brilliant white. The fabric is a heavier linen tightly woven and still with the odd flecks of straw within the weave. They would look fantastic in any kitchen, make a lovely cafe style blinds, cushion covers or look equally good behind glass in a dresser, very French, very shabby chic. They have never been laundered so will need a quick wash to remove any size and light dust marks, they are in excellent condition. Measurements: 21.5 ins (55 cms) wide x 38.5 ins (98 cms) All measurements are approximate and items come from a smoke free home. If buying more several torchons then it goes without saying postage will be combined to offer the cheapest rate.
