This is a vintage picture from France. The title is La Promenade Du Matin. The whole story behind the picture is written in French on the picture but we do not know how to translate. This picture was found in my grandmothers estate way back in the piles in the basement. It is quite interesting. We have been trying to research since last Christmas but can't seem to come up with anything. I thought it should go in a museum but no one seems to know anything about it. The back and trim of the picture is very very fragile. It has a beautifully elegant trim of flowers on the top with delicate trim around the bottom. It looks to be gold leaf. Color seems to have introduced in this era as only the one dress is of color and the bouquet of flowers. They looked to be penciled in red. For how old this picture is it is in good shape with only minute chips and nicks. This picture has preserved very well over the years. Please note how fragile it is. Please note! We have an estate in Virginia and will be listing many more item's in the days and weeks to come . The dimensions are approx. 17 1/2" X 13 1/2" .
