Vintage General Electric Radio Model 115 W (1948) This white plastic, General Electric AM Radio, is from the post WWII era which features a faux translucent front panel and a wide dial face offset by neo Art Deco toffee colored original knobs. After refurbishment the radio plays as expected. Beauty is the radio's hallmark with the white cabinet being near flawless and only a short, approximate ½", superglue stabilized hairline on the bottom of the radio well out of sight, and some faint scratches. The radio is a beauty to display and a pleasure to hear playing. The cabinet serves as a protective barrier between you and the high voltage.Depend on the front panel lights for primary power status as they can burn out/open or not even be present.Depend on the AC switch to disconnect the line voltage from the primary circuitry of the equipment.
