Vintage gents Scottish tweed suit, C 44 long, W 37, L 33 Superb medium-weight wool tweed suit using fabric woven in Scotland by Arthur Bell of Langholm, this is a classic country suit in a striped herringbone fabric. I've struggled to get a decent picture of the colour of the suit, but it is a classic green tweed with a subtle blue stripe and dark orange over-check. I'll look to get some more pics up by Tuesday so you can see what I mean.The jacket has two buttons and twin vents, with three buttons on each cuff and three interior pockets. The trousers are flat-fronted, slightly darted, and have internal buttons for braces as well as external belt loops.The suit is in superb worn condition, with no major blemishes. There is a small pull on one arm, shown in the pics above.Tagged 44L, the measurements are:Armpit to armpit 23 inchesBack of collar to bottom of jacket 32.75 inchesInner sleeve length 18 inchesWaist 37 inchesInseam 33 inches, with another inch to let out if neededHem 9 inches The suit will be sent well-packed and insured appropriately, irrespective of what eBay will allow me to charge.
