This is a Genuine Vintage US GI Mark 2 Fighting knife. The blade is marked US Camillus,N.Y. The blade and sheath show genuine age and I had them examined by a Knowledgeable collector who said iit was possibly Viet Nam era. T is no rust or chips on the blade, guard, or pommel. I compared the size of the blade to other Genuine GI fighting knves and found it to still be full sized with no signs of repeated sharpening and probably has the original edge. The handle is in perfect condition with no loose or missing parts what so ever. The sheath shows a lot of age and wear, but has no defects or damage.
