I LOWERED MY RESERVE.....CHECK IT OUT UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY LOVELY FRANZ HERMLE GOLD COLOR..I BELIEVE THIS IS BRONZE MANTLE CLOCK. THIS LOOKS VERY SIMILIAR TO AN ANTIQUE FRENCH CLOCK THAT SOLD FOR OVER 1,500.00. INSIDE WHEN PANEL IS OPEN IT READS FRANZ HERMLE UNADJUSTED TWO 2 JEWEL MADE IN GERMANY Hermle Clocks HistoryNearly one hundred years ago, Franz Hermle began manufacturing and selling mechanical clocks. In 1922, Franz Hermle founded the Franz Hermle Clock Company in Gosheim/Wuerttemberg, Germany. Within ten years the company became known as one of the most modern and efficient manufacturers of clock movements in the clock industry. Franz Hermle and his sons' dedication weatd the effects of WWII and made Franz Hermle and Sohn, prosper while other companies capitulated. The founder, Franz Hermle, died in 1953 and left a modern and prosperous operation to his sons Gebhard, Alfred, Hans and Heinrich Hermle. They have continued to build the company into a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of clocks, and mechanical clock movements. 130-070. NUMBERS I BELIEVE ARE PORCELIAN....NO DINGS IN BODY...COMES WITH KEY. SIMPLY STUNNING...............I ALSO HAVE PICTURED TWO CANDELABRA'S...THEY LOOK WONDERFUL AND PERFECTLY MATCHED TOGETHER. THESE WILL BE SOLD IN ANOTHER AUCTION. CLOCK MEASURES 2 FEET HIGH AND 14 1/2 AT WIDEST WIDTH. I DON'T KNOW ANY AGE ON THIS BUT WAS PURCHASED FROM AN ESTATE AND THE QUALITY IS SUPERIOR.
