This auction is for a Vintage German Cuckoo Clock With Swiss Musical Movement Glass A Schnieder Sohne It is an Edelweiss Clock (Clock movement & Case made in Germany) with Swiss Musical movement Has a one day movement with three chain 1 for clock, 1 for cuckoo and 1 for music & dancers The bird looks like he has a glass eye Cuckoo sounds on hour and 1/2 Hour. Sounds wonderful! Dancers move at same intervals. Adjustable leaf pendulum This vintage cuckoo clock is in very nice condition & works great! I have had it running for a week without problems. I find no damage other than an old repair on the top as seen in the pictures. It appears that the top bird portion had previously been broken off and has been repaired. As you can see in pictures difficult to see from front veiw much more noticable from back. Not very noticable unless looked for & still displays beautifully. The carvings & painting is just stunning!
