we have a very nice,vintage West German Mfg., Spartan, U.S. Army / Navy Cadet ? Dress Sabre / Sword......sabre is 34-3/4" overall with a 29" X 11/16" max. straight blade..stamped on one side with "Army ,Navy..Spartan trade mark"....other side has "N.S. Meyer Inc. New York " (imported)..and "West Germany" (which dates it after WW 2, not sure of exact date, i've had it 35 yrs..looked old then)...blade still shiney, tip sharp, , no nicks in edges, but shows some plating bubbles..has silver like wrapped grip..brass hilt ends have eagle heads, brass end piece also has eagle engravings (also has notch..probably to put sash cord thru ? )..comes in a clip on scabbard..brass on each end.... (few small dents & tarnish).....nickel plated center also shows alot of plate wear...but all in all still a real nice blade and military collectable !!...PLEASE!! , If you have any questions,or need more pictures ,feel free to email before you bid.,we'll be glad to answer..as I sell "AS IS", NO guarantee,warranty or refund(unless specified)...
