Up for auction is a vintage GI Joe Mouth of Doom partial set along with a dark haired Joe. This Joe is an (R) with the patent number. He has a "soft" head with dark hair. Very minimal hair rub and very good eyebrows. He has stress cracks on his front knees, a very slight one on the back of his right knee, his outer hips and right shoulder. Despite the stress cracks this Joe is tight and stands strong. The Mouth of Doom set was released only in 1969 (#7953) and contains some hard to find items:Jungle jacket with 4 pockets - no insignias. Jungle Shorts. Both are very clean and are tagged GI Joe Hasbro Japan (R). All snaps present and work well. All buttons present on the jacket as well as the belt loops. Pith helmet - fine shape. Tan socks - minor staining - and just a tad of unraveling on one of the socks - top seam. Very nice pair of short brown boots - no splits or holes.Tan web belt in good shape with machete and sheath attached as well as a canteen (Hong Kong on front) with cover (both snaps present).Brown unmarked hunting rifle with gold scope - sling present and still tight.Green crocodile - fine shape - no flaws.Hard to find black cargo trunk with black lid that says Jungle Expedition. The top of the trunk has a small crack in one corner but still fits securely with no apparent danger of getting worse. Very nice (R) Joe with
