SELLING UNUSUAL AND RARE ITEMS ON EBAY FOR 14 YEARS-QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY! - We are not razor collectors, but have sold a few on ebay. This is a nice, clean looking Gillette safety razor, that appears to be a gold-plated Aristocrat model. It appears to have some features of the 1948-1951 model, such as the complete knurled handle and notched center bar. This razor is also stamped under center bar- PAT. NOS. ON PACKAGE - It was our understanding that this particular marking was a feature on the 1946-1947 models. Is this a rare transition model of the Aristocrat ? Head has lost a little of the gold plating on both sides, as photos show. Selling as is.
