HOLLYWOOD REGENCY Gilt Iron and Plate Glass Octagon Table with 4 Chairs This fantastic Hollywood Regency era dining table and chairs was produced circa 1958 by The Swirl Craft Products Company of California. The table base of gilded iron is designed in the manner of Gilles Poillerat and topped with a 3/4" thick by 48" perfect octagonal glass slab. The table base is constructed of 1/4 thick x 2 1/2" Wide forged iron ribbons welded to a 16 1/2" diameter iron ring. The Table base measures 25" Tall, 35" Wide, and 35" Deep. The gorgeous set of 4 matching chairs are a mid century interpretation of classic French design. From the arc of the rear legs, to the "knees" of the front legs, to the deep trapezoidal shaped seat, to the Beautiful Golden Yellow antique upholstery. Luxurious vertical ribbed Velvet stripes on a heavy weight linen texture background fabric make this upholstery soft and durable. . These chairs are a stunning compliment to this special table. Each chair measures 38" Tall at the back, with the seat resting 18" from the floor. The seat back measures 13" Wide at the top, and 15" Wide at the seat. The trapizoidal seat measures 19" Wide at the front, 18" Deep, and 15" Wide at the back. The seat cushion measures approximately 3" Thick. The distance between the chair feet approximately 25" from front to back and 19" Wide.
