Vintage Crown Devon English 7 1/2" tall ginger jar is in excellent condition The width is a bit over 7," and the same multi-toned red Asian design appears on jar and lid. Crown Devon F ieldings S taffordshire England is stamped on the bottom. There are no visible cracks or crazing, chipping or fading. A small scratch-like mark inside the glaze appears on the bottom--looks as if it occurred during the glazing process itself (It's just below the hallmark on the bottom and is very hard to notice). For its age and larger size--7 1/2" as is stamped into the porcelain on the bottom--it's been extremely well maintained and remains beautiful today.
