Vintage Ginny-Like Doll from the 50's and extra dress This auction is for a little 8" hard plastic Ginny-style doll, with blonde hair. I am not an expert (yet) on Ginny dolls, so I am not sure exactly who she is. She does have fingers and toes, not molded shoe feet. As you can see, her hair needs some work, which I am not too good at doing, so I will leave it up to the new owner. The red and white dress she is in is absolutely adorable, with poodles on the skirt, but is not tagged and really looks to be a good handmade dress. The ribbon is just tied around the waistline and not a part of the actual dress. She is wearing little white shoes with red bows, which took me about an hour to tie, so I won't remove them for a picture of her feet. Yes, they are vintage oilcloth with vintage ribbons. I am also adding another dress, which this doll originally was wearing when I received her. I do believe it to be a factory made dress, but it is not tagged. It could be original to this doll, so I am keeping it with the doll. I have taken pictures of her leg joints so you can see how she is made. Yes, her head and feet do move together.
