This advertising change tray was put out by Christopher Dairy Farms Milk. The red lettering has faded with age but is still readable. It reads San Francisco's Finest Food Purveyors serve Christopher's Milk. The dairy was run by George Christopher who became the Mayor of San Francisco. The dairy was sold to Berkeley Farms in 1970. The piece is approximately 7 inches by 5 1/2 inches. It is 2 inches at the tallest part in the back and 1 1/2 inches in the front. The round indented change tray is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The glass is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The Blue lettering is in good condition and very readable. The red lettering has faded with time. The felt on the back has writing as shown in the photos and has either crackled through age or is crackled to look like dairy hay. I have tried to show the condition of whatever it is in my photos. I am always happy to combine shipping on my auctions for multiple purchases when possible to reduce postage costs. In some cases when using flat rate priority boxes it is not possible to combine items because they exceed the capacity of the flat rate boxes. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you for your bids.
