This adorable nursery/baby/juvenille fabric is approximately 36 inches wide and almost 2 yards (71 inches) long. It is in very good condition! The side is marked (c) SAS A& W Made in USA "A little Golden Book" Fabric Katie the Kitten by Alice & Martin Provensen. Katie the Kitten is doing various activities: playing with a ball, sleeping, playing with yarn, playing with a butterfly, and drinking milk. It looks to be from the 50's. The main color is red. Fabric looks like cotton to me. I noticed one small spot on the fabric which could be excess dye.. see the last photo. Most of my fabrics were purchased from estate sales. Since these are vintage items, they have been stored for awhile and may have a closet smell to them. I am not a fabric content expert, but do my best to describe it.
