Up is a vintage Grandpa Time Storytelling clock made by Homestar in 1988. This is a cassette driven talking childrens' clock with an alarm. I don't have any of the original cassette tapes, so I tested it out with a regular one...it works and you can understand what is being said, although the voice is a bit deeper/distorted, I didn't have one of these as a kid so I am not sure if that is how it is suppose to sound or not. Both the clocks work, I was able to set the times & alarm, and the volume control works without static, but not sure how to set anything else. There are some scratches/marks on the plastic from normal use, as well as some discoloration/color fading of the plastic from age, so it is cream color and white. It does come with a working adapter.
