True gem and rare find! Aladdin Model B manufactured by The Mantle Company in Chicago. Excellent condition, even includes original lamp shade and apparatus. Wick is in tact and still quite a bit of it remains in the reservoir. I'm not able to get the wick turn knob to work, but I think it just requires someone to open up the assembly and loosen the wick (it hasn't been used for decades and has been stored in a safe and dry environment during that time). Only other minor defect is a small hole in the lamp shade (shown in picture). Original Aladdin imprint on chimney still very clear as shown in picture. Overall this lamp is in excellent shape and has all of the original pieces - a true rare find. I'm adding a picture of the crack and tried to angle it to emphasize the crack. It isn't very noticeable in normal light/angle, and I actually didn't even see it the first few times I looked at it.
