VINTAGE GREEN GLASS VIOLIN CELLO BOTTLE W/ STAND This auction is for a vintage emerald green glass bottle in the shape of a violin or cello. It comes with a metal stand that might be copper. (T is a green patina on it that leads me to think this is so.) This stand can also be used as a hanger in order to hang the bottle on the wall. I know for sure that this is an old piece. It belonged to a friend's grandparents. The bottle is 10" tall, and measures 4 1/4" across the widest part near the bottom. It is 1 1/4" deep. The bottle seems to be a combination of blown and pressed glass. T are air bubbles and striations in the glass, but t is a seam that bisects the bottle on a diagonal. The neck of the bottle is not straight, it has a wave in it. The design on the front is both raised and impressed. At the bottom, t is a flat piece so that it stands without wobbling. T is a roughness to the edge of this bottom part, with a tiny nick in the glass. T are no other cracks or chips. I pack carefully with bubble wrap and plenty of padding.
