I really don't know much about this, although I have been told that it is very unusual. It must be at least 40 years old. Dark green pressed glass- I think it is meant to be an eagle? I wondered if it might be of American origin, and at its size I would assume it held alcohol. No marks to indicate maker or origin. It is in very good condition- the original cork, which fitted inside the bird's head, is still present but broken up. There is a chip in the rim of the bird's head, which is only obvious when the head is removed. I have tried to show it in the third photo-which I have edited to try to make the defect more obvious. It is at approx. 1 o'clock on the rim. To be honest I find this odd rather than endearing but, even if you don't want to buy it, I would be very interested if anyone can tell me anything about it! I usually offer to answer any questions about my items, and of course I still will if I can, but this could be a case where a collector would know a lot more than I do!! Will be sent via 'My Hermes' courier.
