Sun-Rise started as a beverage line created by a soft drink manufacturer and bottler called the Tazewell Manufacturing Company in 1910 in North Tazewell, Virginia. The company was sold in 1931 to a James Buston. In 1956 Sun-Rise Beverages was sold again and relocated in Marshall, Minnesota. The brand went national with the help of the Coca~Cola Company that took over the bottling and distribution of the Sun-Rise line. Sun-Rise soda was around into the 1970s.This cardboard sign is not that elaborate and would have probably been used in a grocery store on top of a display of Sun-Rise Soda to get attention. Measures 21" X 13" and has a few issues. Even so, it is rare and would be appreciated by a soda or Coca~Cola collector. Note: marroon mat is not included and was used only to have the photo stand out more.
