Vintage Guilloche' Double Vanity/Cigarette Case Combo - Unmarked/Evans? Deeper Goldtone Accents...The Base and Lid Surround is a Dotted Micro Square, Pale Golden Yellow with the Goldtone Dotting showing through. The Lid is Pale Yellow Guilloche' with a Floral Side Swag...a Mauve Shaded Rose, Two Buds and Green Flora. Dimensions: 2 3/4" x 2 " Mirror: Metallic, Clear and Intact...one spot of oxidation lower right, minor Hinges & Clasps: In fine order Edges: Deeper Goldtone with slight wear Interior: Open, Full (Hot Pink) Rouge Well, applicator included, original? Covered, Empty Powder Well with Original, well worn puff. The Well Cover is an Off White Enamel and there are corrosion spots on the inside of the cover. Base: Dotted Micro Square, Pale Golden Yellow with the Goldtone Dotting showing through...light wear Cigarette Case: Deeper Goldtone Dotted Micro Squares...some oxidation dotting and wear...the cigarette clip is secure and the hinge in fine order...believe sized for the older non filter king cigarettes. Lid: Dotted Micro Square, Pale Golden Yellow with the Goldtone Dotting showing through...light wear. The Silvertone framing of the Guilloche' has wear, oxidation. The Guilloche' has...one dot upper right...please view photo. Otherwise pristine, High Gloss and Smooth to the touch. A version of this compact (with Cloisonne' disk) is shown in Ladies Compacts, Second Edition, Roselyn Gerson, Pg #286 and attributed to Evans. This version, without the Guilloche' lid, has a listed 2001 value of $60-$80 Always Desirable Guilloche'! I am not an expert but try to list all flaws no matter how minor. Items are sold as is.
