For your consideration—A vintage, “Gustav Becker” movement for a mantel or shelf clock, for parts, repair, or restoration. The movement’s plates measure approximately 5 inches wide by 5 ½ inches tall by 1 ½ inches deep. This item comes used from the estate of an old clock repairman. The movement appears to be complete, but I can’t be sure. Two screws were loosened toward the bottom of the movement that hold the plates together, and the gears and spring barrels are loose and need to be re-positioned before the plates can be reassembled and screwed together. I have no way of testing it, nor do I know if it works, so it is being sold as-is. I am not an expert on these things, so I urge you to please review the listed pictures carefully, and ask questions before bidding! The item is located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and is also available for free local pick-up.
