We've rescued these six drawers and the frame from a huge haberdashery unit or shop fitting- all the handles and glass are original. We've wired wooled the drawer fronts and iron handles, and waxed them to breath new life into them. They look fantastic. The drawers are a bit tatty, a bit of wood missing here and there, two have no handles, a broken piece of glass in one, but it's a great piece thats living a long and exciting life. A new top has been cut and painted with colourman paints - based on traditional milk paint recipes. A lovely matt paint, with a protective layer of wax. The edge has been routered to give a professional finsih. We've replaced the hardboard at the back. So all parts except the top and back are original. 90cm high, 51cm deep and 122cm wide. This is a large and heavy piece and we are listing is as collection only. Please contact us for local(ish) delivery costs.If collecting in person there is the option to pay by card. The piece is a one off, and is also on sale in our bricks and mortar shop, so if we sell it the listing will be finished early. It also means you are welcome to view in the shop.
