Welcome Fellow Vintage Hallowe'en Enthusiasts! Aaahh, Autumn... falling leaves, cool, crisp air, warm pumpkin pie, and...HALLOWEEN!!! Many of you know us as long-time vintage Halloween collectors. This is a fabulous, early piece of Halloween history, and it's the piece to DIE for! This auction features a wonderful Dennison Hallowe'en Gobolink diecut and its original box, ca. 1925 to 1926, in fine condition. This cutout depicts an adorable scared and running elf carrying an equally-scared Jack o' Lantern. The colors of both the die cut and the box are warm and rich shades of old orange, black and cream. The decoration measures 4" high x 2 ¾" wide, and the box, with its own applied die cut on the front, measures 5" high x 3 ¼" wide x 1/4" high. The front of the box says Six Dennison Hallowe'en Cut-outs, and at the bottom says Dennison Manufacturing Company, The Tag Makers, Framingham , Mass. , U.S.A. While we wish t were six cut-outs present, t is one in the box and one applied to the front of the box by the manufacturer for display. The condition for the loose cutout is as follows: the front is in very good condition, with only a couple of creases on the extended leg above his boot.
