We are currently away for our Christmas Vacation and will not return until December 31 and can ship any itmes to you on the 31st when we return. Happy and blessed holidays from our family to yours! Thank you very much for your winning bids. Great and unusual piece. There is a metal stand and donkey that I think is probably either pewter or aluminum. It is an impressive metal base with hammered centered texture and scroll side designs. The donkey is cast metal. A magnet does not stick to the metal.The base measures approx 5.5 x 3.5". The entire height with the pen holder placed verticle is approx 3.75".What an awesome gift for these political times for a democrat or even a gag gift for a republican. There is white oxydation on the base, but I used a paper towel with water and wiped some away. So I don't think you'll have a problem.Maybe the pen holder is bakelite? Not sure. It is black.The bottom of the base has some gold paint over the hardware nut/bolt. <-- ! We combine shipping charges on multiple winning bids.
