You are looking at a vintage Chinese hand carved chess set in its original box with all the pieces. This is a nice set and includes the original board which is a little warped. The king is 3.5" and the pawns are 2.5". The box has a little odor from age. I am not positive what the pieces are made of but it looks like bone to me. You can see the grain in each piece. A couple of pieces are missing their silk pad on the bottom. All of the pieces are in great shape. Please look at the pictures carefully. Nice collectible set.
