For your consideration is this truly stunning vintage, victorian solid wood chiming wall clock almost 4 feet in length. The beautiful rich, hand carved, solid wood cabinet with a rich mahogany hand rubbed finish, is a true work of art capped with an elegant finial.Highlighting this elaborate wood carving is the large custom cut glass front panel and 2 glass side viewing panels which allow for viewing the inner workings of this wonderful clock close-up.The clock works are key driven (key included) and need only be wound once a week, to ensure that she keeps excellent time.The pendulum, marked with an R/A , swings majestically while the hours are counted by charming chimes. Note: the RA Pendulum symbol refers to "Retard and Advance" - meaning the clock can be adjusted to ensure accurate time by adjusting the position of the weight, up or down, on the pendulum.This clock was bought at an estate auction over twenty years ago and has hung on our living room wall ever since.
