For Auction today at NO RESERVE we offer a Unique Carved Wood Treen DOOR KNOB. A RARE Mid to late 19th century Doorknob Features a WOOD NYMPH - Sprite with Grape leaves in her long curls, the tips of her wings show in the background. Back and sides are covered in carved Leaf designs. Minimal Traces of original black paint remain and add more character to the piece. Measuring approx. 2.5" in diameter it is being sold in Excellent preowned vintage condition with NO chips , hairlines, brakes or heavy scratches. With exceptional detailed from a master Wood Carver this door knob would be a wonderful as well as Functional addition to any Carved Wood collection and of course a great gift to give.
