Vintage hand made appliqué quilt vining roses cottage style pink white full size vintage 1930s-40sThis beautiful quilt was likely made from a kit that was available from needlework magazines in the 1930s-40s. Made of all cotton fabrics, it has a beautiful pattern of what appear to be pink roses vining around the top to the quilt. Three colors of pink: a bright saturated pink and a pastel pink, set off with a darker green and lighter grass green vine. Slightly off white background. Scalloped pattern on all four edges with narrow pink binding. This quilt is hand appliquéd and machine quilted. A great addition to a cottage or farmhouse style room, on display, or folded in a basket. Photographed on a full size bed.Condition: The narrow pink binding is starting to fray a bit from use/laundering. There are also a few areas on the appliqué pieces where the fabric is starting to wear through. At what was probably the top, some of the machine stitching is starting to come loose. That could easily be repair by hand or machine, or leave as is. See photos. Convo me with questions.Dimensons: 87" x 74"Please note: we sell vintage items. All pieces were used by someone at one time or another. All are sold as-is, with no warranty. We attempt to describe any defects, but do not expect the items to be new or in mint condition.
